IGNITE the girls in your school!
Inspiring Girls Now in
Technology Evolution is the brainchild of Cathi Rodgveller Seattle school districts have seen great advances in girls’
participation in technology classes – including the highest participation rate for girls in technology programs in North America! Women in technology, math, and science jobs volunteer to be interviewed by girls in high school and junior
high. The result is girls begin to envision themselves in those same occupations;
girls begin taking more math, science, and computer classes.
Learn
more about this fantastic program at www.ignite-us.org and www.ignite-us.org/volunteering.htm. Contact Terry Busch at terryb@p4peid.org to volunteer in your community.
